• ST. LOUIS — Soul music purists got a special gift in 2008 when Patti LaBelle, Nona Hendryx and Sarah Dash reunited their trio, Labelle, after decades apart for a tour and album. LaBelle, the solo artist, has news for fans: Labelle the group is going to do it again. "We're not finished," she says. "We'll do another CD and another tour." Until LaBelle, Hendryx and Dash join forces again, it's LaBelle doing her own thing, just as she did after the trio broke up in 1976.
