Comment:

Just in case I don't find the time to make a mix containing songs from my fave albums purchased this year (for me it's been the best year musically of the decade)here's a cop out this is just a compilation of some of my fave songs used on my mixes throughout '07. I seem to be slowing down with submissions, praps that's no bad thing though cos these days I seem to play what I've mixed; as opposed to moving directly on to the next melange. Thanks to Barrydali for track #6 & SammyG for #10 (incidentally Sam, our attempt at an Alt DJ mix was the most fun I've had round AotM this year, cheers mon ami) Thanks to one and all for the superb d/l's, it bugs the life out of me that I've still not sussed how to provide links to the shit I turn out so you could all suffer like the beleagured Mrs.Frenchy!!! Who knows '08 might find me getting my arse into gear but don't hold yer breath mes amis. Stay cool guys, as Tom says "Practice Peace," Love & Rockets - Cliff.

This confirms how much I have *not* heard in 2007! I am doing a top 7 for '07 soon on my blog and wish I had heard more of these albums! Glad there are other writers helping to round out the year.

Man, that Psychic Ills track is awesome. I used it *last* year in my year-end mix. Your behind the times my European friend! Also digging 3 and 14, which will probably make my year-end mix whenever I get around to it.
Cliff, have you heard of Wooden Shjips. I think you'll love 'em.

Good to see Martin Newell on a mix. Are the Village Green anything like the Kinks? I have to know more about these artists-a truly intriguing concoction and I adore the artwork too.

This looks great. I also believe this has been probably the best year for music of the decade so far. I've been wrestling with doing some sort of favorites of the year and it's been tough. I have a very large list this year and I still see lots of stuff here I'm not familiar with... yet. The Aliens and Oakley Hall are on my list.

Ohhh... There is so much on here that I haven't heard. Currently in love with Panda Bear and The Twilight Sad album is an absolute fave of mine from last year... wait, not quite last year yet.

The cover!! I spent a couple of hours yesterday trying to do a track listing and I couldn't manage it. This is exceedingly groovy.
