Comment:

A year in the making but finally complete. Isn't a sitar mix akin to a pan-pipe mix I hear you say? Hopefully I'll prove that isn't the case. For me sitar is the most psychedelic of instruments and this was my inspiration for the mix i.e. to capture sitar at the helm of a song not merely residing in the background.
During the making of the mix I discovered that I prefer sitar when it's accompanied by guitar, bass and drums, therefore no apologies for the absence of Ravi Shankar and the like. My good frie-nd Valis must be mentioned for his support, inspiration and song suggestions throughout, cheers mon ami. Spaeaking of suggestions, as you may see song #20 is blank, so if anyone would like to suggest a track (under 4 mins 50 please)I'll forward a copy to the song that catches my ear best.Practice Peace Folks.

Merci beaucoup for the kind comments, I've just noticed that the Sidonie track should read 'Sidonie Goes To London,' I had a whole heap of problems submitting the mix it actually took 3 attempts before the bloody thing was accepted and by that time I simply failed to see that I'd got the wrong track, ho hum, I'm sure you'll forgive me.

This is great, FC...the High Dials and BJM tracks are my favorite. Still pondering a suggestion for track 20...

Now you've given me a headache old chap. I always find the sitar an easy way of making an average song sound mystical. But the 4 on here I know are great so that is that theory fecked good and proper. Singleman Affair - Good to be with you again is my nomination mon ami.

I really like the way this kicks off with the first couple songs. I'd be wearing out the incense listening to this one.
