Comment:

A friend sent me 27 versions of "These Boots Are Mad for Walkin'" & I thought I'd respond with an assortment of shoe songs, but somehow ended up with this instead -- that probably doesn't explain anything except why there are no "Boots" versions here. - Hard to believe that there are three different songs about sack dresses, ending up with the rather bizarre "Sack & Chemise Gang Fight". I'm not even sure exactly what a sack dress is, but it seems to have been unpopular with musicians, at least.

Your theme mixes are really cool. I can never find enough songs that I like for a theme, you must have a huge record collection.

Joey, you must be a mind reader! I've been working on the same theme! Nice work, we'll have to trade when I finish mine. =)

Clothes make the mix! This mix really suits you. Hats off to you my friend! Okay, I'll stop now. Love that you included my favorite French all-girl band -- Les Calamities.

yeh great idea, i was going to suggest maybe the kinks' dedicated follower of fashion but all these picks look to be directly related to an actual garment or shoe. good work.

Nicely done. I like the mishmash of different artists and styles. Cool cover too.
