Comment:

Firstly, thanks everyone for the great feedback regarding Volume 1. Anyone who inquired about a trade for the first one will get this one sent aswell. Bonus! This volume focuses on bands that are currently on Rough Trade. I tried to keep it from being a run of the mill indie collection by including a few gems, not least Cornershop's excellent 'Topknot' which makes its AOTM debut here. Happy listening!

A worthty sequel Sam, some fine inclusions here. I'm surprised that that Cornershop number hasn't raised it's head before, a very under-rated act methinks.

This is really nice, Sammy, and I'm looking forward to hearing it. I've been doing my bit to promote Cornershop here (they've made it onto three of my mixes, though not Topknot, sadly).

Hey, wait a minute! That Belle & Sebastian song hasn't officially been released yet! You're cheatin'! But seriously, this looks like a nice companion piece to the first one. Looks like you've been able to make a few rough "trades" for these mixes.

Take what I said about Volume 1, double the ingredients and enough salt to suit one's taste.

Well, it seems the label went downhill after volume one, but I'm sure you mixed it well.

More great choices. B&S is a single here in the UK so I think you're playing fair... what a grower it is too.

My apologies regarding the B&S song. Songs from their next release are all over the internet. It's going to be a fantastic CD.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I think this is great. This, despite my shameful ignorance of some of the artists, is superb. I've now had time to listen to the whole thing. Let me reiterate - this is superb! Take a break now sammy, let us get our breath back.

Finally gave this a proper listen today. Another corker. The real gem here for me is the Babyshambles track. I was shocked as to how good this track is, put me in mind of The Village Green Preservation Society era Kinks.
