Comment:
Inspired by Dj Karen's Wilson Pickett tribute and then seeing a Lou Rawls track on alma cogan's latest. I decided to compile a mix comprising of artists we lost in the past twelve months. This is the result. Thanks to Mixxer for TK 4.MIX

Feedback:
Simply brilliant!
nice tribute... makes me remember not to forget.
A simply wonderful tribute.
Great tribute. May their memories and great music live on. Speaking of Long John Baldry, exactly what is boogie-woogie music?
This is a wonderful, poignant tribute.
Sad circumstances but a great mix. Room for Alex St Clair Snouffer or even Derek Bailey?
Positively awe inspiring, sammy. A wonderful way to remember such talent as we wave them gooodbye. Excellent choices all round. If I might quote your Clancy Eccles pick - Feel The Riddim. I know I have. Well done Sam. I doff my cap to you. Nice little line drawing, very apt.
Vital stuff. Very nice idea, sammy.
Gone, but not forgotten. Great tribute, thanks for doing it.
This is a truly wonderful tribute.
I feel honoured to have inspired such a collection. Thanks.

Good go here sammyg123...
Plushpig, your comment was taken aboard. Unfortunately at the time of making this mix i was unaware of the passing of those two greats. I also did not know about the death of Barry Cowsill until i read this months mojo magazine. I would have found room for each of those three artists but alas 'twas too late.
