Comment:
I didn't keep track of how many songs I'd used on previous mixes for the summer of '69, but it was likely a good number (I had to dig deep into the charts to come up with this mix). Track 15 was used on a prior, mid-60s mix, having charted twice (earlier in the Fall of '66, when it reached #22). Track 18 was also used on my Backin' Through the Years (of 1969-67). Track 20 was from the cult daytime TV series "Dark Shadows". After posting this compilation, I noticed that track 22 was also used as the 1st track of my 2nd Volume of '69 tunes.Feedback:
Good mix. Lots of classics here.
Standing O!!!
well done! this mix displayes alot of depth. peace. love. and mixes.
Some deep track finds here! #10 is on my all time top 100...
fresh inclusions for an era where certain songs have been played to death (okay, I could probably do without Honky Tonk Woman - not because it isn't good, but due to Classic Radio overkill). Otherwise, sterling!
