I haven't made a band anthology since I made this one (7/05), and I'm itching to do more. Modest Mouse may be next, or possibly a mix of less-familiar U2 or Beatles songs.

Looks almost identical to the one I made a few years back (though I opted for a chronological arrangement). I've been meaning to rework it into a 2-cd set, given the wealth of bonus tracks on the reissues, but I keep waiting for them to see if they're planning to rerelease any of their later discs in expanded editions. Hard to imagine anyone listening to this and not falling in love with the band, but there's just no accounting for taste.

though this is a pretty great mix you forgot "Frontwards" which is my absolute favorite pavement song so im giving you 4 and a half stars. sorry buddy.

Ah, but that would have meant either including 3 of the 4 songs from Watery Domestic, or excluding either Texas Never Whispers or Shoot the Singer. I agree Frontwards is a great song, but I like the other 2 better, and I like to keep my anthologies as proportional as possible.
