Comment:

Side 1
1)Apparently this was a such big influence on Chicago House, the lads, Errol, Lee & Ashley toyed with the idea of making a Chicago based musical version of Auf Wiedersen Pet .
4) I believed, and to some extent still do, that Zappa's Zoo of satire & intellect was reserved for zit infested kids who fiddled tirelessly with bunsen burners and were able to explain why the Quest section of Mayfair (or was it Penthouse) Magazine behaved like a litmus paper when you, or rather me ejaculated gloriously upon those yellow coloured pages.
6) Baby can't get enough of that white stuff.
7) D-raat, it's Trad Jazz - but not so Trad you couldn't imagine Hump blowing the razzle off a reluctant stripper inside a strip joint in London's Soho. Yowzer Dad!
8) Revealing I was bi-lingual in linguini & lingerie, she panted provocatively `tween pasta & panini.
10) For Smithsonian males searching for an anti-dote to years of A-sexual mitherings, place a wedge of Gedge on the cheese platter and watch chest hair miraculously sprout on your once delicate chest.
12) Thought the vocal to this drum'n'bass thingy from `I'm neutral to everyone but those with gold pillaged from Jews' was by a woman. How freakin' wrong was I? Well, I'm as wrong as those folk who don't think Switzerland is guilty of war crimes. Turns out these gold bar tonsils belong to a 12 yr old name of Mike Smith but hey we're livin' in the century of transplants.

Side 2
1) Having never tried opium myself, I'm in no position to say if this set of mind numbing beats is a shuffle friendly tune for Opium users or the effects of opium set to music. Perhaps in the opium community, there's a plea flying out to mixers & musos alike for beats Opium users can beat their pipes to.What enlivens these beats from a hell of stupor are the inane chatterings of an unidentified French Female.
3) Love the way this starts out.most Komedaesque.
5) Bonus sections on re-released discs are sometimes cum soaking experiences for collectors, mostly they're record companies giving your wallet the best blow job ever. Oooh yeah 10 tracks in stereo and the same 10 tracks in mono. In other words 10 tracks sound crap on your hi-fi. So full marks to Deram for releasing b-sides and hard to find tracks. Okay, so the psych out promised by the blurred cover never materialises and the blues work outs are only marginally more exciting than the excrable Allman Brothers but this b-side buzzes with ringing phones, traffic noise & sonic warpings. Nice!
6) This wouldn't seem out of place on a Mancini soundtrack.
8) Lil'Richard swaps R'n'Roll for soul on this 68 outing for Brunswick. I thought for Richard the barnet was his numero uno priority, not his clothes. Soul ain't Richard's medium and the race is on as R'n'Roll claims his soul. Still, the race is fun.
9) I'm a rookie in the world of Violent Femmes. Sometimes I want to be trampled on by spiked heels but sometimes I just want get off the floor and indulge in straight sex.
10 + 11) Oooh but I do so like Sarah Cracknell! On a beach in Hawaii, illuminated by the setting sun, tramping the sands in spiked heels looking for a man to walk.
12) Not to be confused with other musicians bearing the name Gonzalez, this British based jazz funk out fit boasted between 10 & 30 players depending on the weather. Obviously! For dancers & obscure funk collectors alike, this Latin tinged work out is sure to bring the sweat trickling down your bum crack. Nasty!

I'm getting bored of writing 'excellent', 'good job', 'lubbly jubbly', 'wish this was on CD' etc. . . . . .

Your sweetness is my weakness indeed . . . Exccelent stuff from start to finish. And, er, sorry for being such a smart-aleck once again, but Tosca are from Austria, not Germany. And it's Seelenluft (soul air). ;)

Excellent! Like the Scritti Politti, Wedding Present, and Seelenluft; the whole thing's great, just like all of your mixes. But just one thing - good God. Auf Wiedersehen Pet on Broadway? Canny.

I was going to write a kickass comment about this one. I really was. Then me brain one-tracked on Sophia Loren and the constant references to masturbation made me all schoolboy giggly. So You'll have to make do with this. Fantastico!

Swing Out Sister? That's a nice surprise. Gonzalez (the British based jazz funk outfit) does seem to have that effect. But I wasn't aware of any other Gonzalezes....it might be a general phenomenon.
