They Might Be Giants - And Time Is Stll Marching On: 1986-2004 [disc two]
Comment:
This is a TMBG compilation I made for a friend. Admittedly, I stole most of the tracklisting from the official Dial-A-Song: 20 Years Of They Might Be Giants set, but I made a lot of my own omissions and additions, as well as moving a few of the tracks around.I used the Apollo 18 version of "Fingertips," which is separated into twenty-one tracks, so "Birdhouse In Your Soul" is actually track 49.Disc one of two.Feedback:
Fingertips was a great concept... five second songs to break up the playlist when you included the disc when playin on "shuffle"

I appluad the inclusion of "Dead," "Dinner Bell" and "Turn Around," three classics that never show up on compilations. There are a couple of things I would have done differently here (for instance, I think the DAS version of "She's Actual Size" is too long and esoteric for a newbie), but TMBG compilations tend to be so personal. TMBG's catalogue is so consistently strong that it's really hard to go wrong with any picks.
