Comment:

This was a truly intriguing concept mix to put together. The main idea behind it is a conversation over the course of a relationship. It starts with photograph, which details brings all these memories flooding back. From there, it goes back and forth, with duets highlighting turning points in the relationship. This breaks up the mix into 3 parts: the lead-up (1-7), the good but trying times (9-12), and the fall-out (14-20). I suppose I intentionally made the first part intense and euphoric, with a short middle portion, brought the end in with length and intensity. Tell me how this experiment worked out!

On another note, I never actually put this together more than in concept, because I don't have all these songs in an accessible media format. :sigh: I just hope this is a risk that worked.

This is excellent, although I have to voice my disdain at Jamie Cullum and Eva Cassidy neither of which I can bear but I get the fact that they fit the theme. Superb picks from Alison Krauss, Alexi Murdoch, Nick Drake, Etta James and Josh Rouse, and I'd love to hear track 8.
