Comment:

Whether he knows it or not, Elvis' "I loved you there and then/It's as simple as that" before the last chorus is his finest moment. Thanks to RetroJoe's "1948 Hit Parade" for the "Nature Boy" jones.

Spot on.

In fact, you have created some inspiration for me regarding the mix after my next one.

And Curtis, thanks for the kudos, it is good to be back.

The title is a wonderful statement of our human condition. Day by day we flit between the two. Today Curtis is a king, and track 2 proves the pudding. Most enjoyable.

This looks really nice. Love Feist's take on the Bee Gees, and Nina's track is pretty swell, too.

"Luxury liner, forty tons of steel, no-one in this whole wide world knows the way I feel"....could be Emmylou's finest moment. Good work, Burns.

Nice little collection of tunes here! And, I'm pleased to say I can identify just about all of them. Like the Al Green and Birthday Party a lot - the Wilson Pickett's a nice addition too.

I gues the truth lies somewhere between "nice little collection of tunes" and "absolutely fantastic" (less is sometimes more). At any rate, this must be one of your most accessible (and listenable) mixes. TrFs agrTable, sir.

I love it when you put together something us poor boys & nature boys can get the hang of. Several finest moments in here . . .
