Feedback:
There's a lot here I don't know, but I bet it's good.
Splendid as always. Im especially fond of that Fatima Mansions song. This pony is far from lame.
Ditto NoV, and I'm guessing that this isn't for Ann's kids, what with all the motherf**king.
Love it D, especially The Magic Numbers, Cash and Eels.
Dom, seriously, figure out an effin way to get this stuff available on the net. Please.
I love how you continuously blend new and old in a seamless manner, so friggin clever. I don't know many who can do that at with the depth of touch that you do. Top Notch. Canned Heat follwed by the Eels! I mean, golly that's good mixin'
Mmm Lucien Freud. Another stunning piece (mix and Ann's art). I'd love to see Ann's work in the flesh, as it were.
Some great old faves here: PT, Hot Chocolate, Foetus (yass!) . . . And I haven't thought of, let alone heard the Saditic Mika Band in decades.
Nice, and like the look of the art too. Great New York Dolls pick and like your Eels / Femmes handoff!
I like the way you've censored the Motherf**ing songs. It adds to this mix's charms. Once again your mix throws together songs I love & songs i don't know but would surely love if i did. Your consistency astounds me.
I like what I know...
...searching...searching...Hey...where's the little link up th'top where you "click" on it and it plays the mix..?Another nice one, Dom (& a lovely paiting t'boot).
If this were a competitive event of some description (oh that'll be a competition, then, you...) and I was able to see this before I submitted my "entry". Well, I'd stop right there and concede. I'd be looking at the winner! I know when I'm beaten.Your respect and admiration for Anne's work shines out and is well founded.Despite g.a.b. l@bs tongue-in-cheek dig at the 'click here' community, there are occasions when a mix evinces an "I want it now" reaction. This definitely qualifies as one of them. So, perhaps a trade? This is a "must have" mix and I must have it.
Ah, excuse me. Note to g.a.b. l@bs: if your "click" comment was not as I perceived it to be. I apologise. I'm not paranoid, you all just think I am. And Dom1 - This mix deserves 2 feedback comments from us all.
Dominon in its execution methinks!
Good one Dom, again!
Lucien Freud! Goodness!
