Tales of the Proverbial 2nd Chance v 85
Comment:
My first mix in two years. There is more here than meets the ear. I searched for it but could not find a listing for the George W Bush Singers. THAT absence is extremely hard for me to believe. I am also curious as to how well known is the Paul McCartney/Loretta Lynn/Jack White connection. I have been out of the loop a long time, I readily acknowledge. So much that I completely ignored and distained American Idol for four years and now cannot get enough of it. And hey, we have new Flaming Lips, for that alone, please have a listen.
Feedback:
I'm on the case...
Please direct me to the nearest store that keeps it's shelves fully stocked with the latest in awful american idol audition tapes.
I'm with savenacauley...they put the wrong "idols" on tour.
i have actually gotten really into tomoyasu hotei recently...
i guess it's important to note that i was 11 in 1998, and she was 7. i was the perfect age for hanson, spice girls, bsb, etc etc, and anything big sister liked, little sister liked too. haha!
and what do you mean by natch?

I'm a bit dissapointed with the new Lips album, sadly. This mix looks cool though.
The ending track alone makes this one worth the price of admission! WHEEEEEEEEEE!!!
How do you blend this stuff so well? Amazing!
I've been looking for "DJ" software, but haven't found that right one yet...please educate me, please.

I have educated musicgnome. For the rest of y'all, if you are interested, look at the bottom of each of my listening pages at the website. You will find a link to the mixer I use. It is easy but pretty basic and there are some tricks of the trade on how to bash it out and tart it up. But I am more than pleased to help anyone out and coach anyone along. So, if you try it out and want that something "extra," drop me a line. And while I am here, thanks for the comments. I clicked on the MOTW Editor position tag and saw that it was available. Mannnn, I was almost a bad boy and about to choose my own mix. I am proud of it. But I decided to leave it up to my horoscope and see what it said. It said, it read: "Don't tell people what you want to hear." :D So I used the back button on my browser and decided to be a nice guy of the week. Anyway, thanks for the comments.
Great lookin' mix my friend!
Schweeeeet.
Great as always, dude.
Nice mix. Thanks for the link to the mixer. I've been looking for a good one for some time. I'll probably try it out.
Woo-hoo!!! Nice one Jon, congrats! It was only a matter of time. That Sammy fella knows what he'd talking about!
Well, well, well etc. Oh yeah, I remember -- WELL DONE, JON! Mix of the week! I won't argue with sammyg123, but my new jonpoi favourite is Volume 74. Hey, maybe next week...
Schweeeet is wight!
Oh, wow. That's funny. I didn't even know. I mean, I couldn't figure out the renewed interest or barry's sammy comment until I hit refresh browser. Hmm, not only did the 2nd chance ring true, I feel like a cross between Tom Hanks and Sally Fields. Thanks for welcoming me back, guys and gals. You made me feel great this Sunday morning. I'm a happy guy. Thanks to all and again to you, too, Sammy. Doomo arigatoo gozaimashita.
Congrats! I agree with Nomates -- this isn't the volume that I would've chosen, but they're all deserving. Way to go!
Fantastic.
Congrats!
Congratulations - I'm still loving your V80. Can't wait to listen to this. welcome home!
Congrats On MOTW well diserved!
