Comment:

Although I am more of a left-leaning Libertarian myself, I do believe the World needs more Unterrified Democrats. Actually, that is the name of my Grandpa's home-county newspaper, from Linn, MO. Funny enough, the paper is now officially Republican, but the name is so legendary, I don't believe they will change it. 100 years ago, it was called the Osage County Republican, but changed ideologies soon thereafter. So, back to the mix, I have a few volumes prepared so far, this version contains the most "obvious" choices, but I think it works at some points, I like having songs dedicated to Nixon, Reagen and the Devil in that order. The Steve Earle tracks show the contrast in being a heavy-handed idealogue and more subtle working man's poet (actually the Christmas song has both sides of Earle's personality). Subtitles for these UD volumes will be in Spanish, just because, though the next layer of subtitles are in English (subtitles of subtitles, whatever). This could have just been the first track over and over again, dedicated to President Cheney. "All the money you've made will never buy back your soul." On that note, adios.

Well, if you ever get to the conflict between Palestina and Israel, I recommend using Jorge Drexler's "Milonga del moro judfo". I did an anti-Fox/anti-Bush mix in 2004: http://www.artofthemix.org/FindAMix/getcontents.asp?strMixID=83414

Always good to see this kind of mixes.

Yeah, this is the stuff I dig. However, a suggestion rather than a comment: how about getting a copy of the newspaper and working with it for a cover of the mix?
