60 minutes. i have a weird sense of humor about valentines, and this year i made a mixtape valentine to give to my friends. this is that mix - 14 of the saddest, most heartwrenchingly beautiful songs in my music collection at the moment.

I have no recollection of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds recording a song titled Spell..The Birthday Party recorded a track titled Say A Spell & both Cave fronted bands (I'm pretty sure) have played Screamin' Jay Hawkins' I Put A Spell On You Live. If I'm wrong I apologise and if so I'd be interested where Spell originates from. Otherwise some good stuff.
