Comment:
Because Nomates made the request and because I promised to do Nomates' bidding, this mix is available for download at the link above.Track numbers are mere gestures."On the stage a blue haze shimmered. Red flame shot through the mist, a net of scarlet, contracting, pulsing, outlining the recognizable patterning of veins and arteries. Among the running fires, the shadow of bones formed a human skeleton in the blue, till at once the shape was laced with sudden silver, the net of nerves that held the body imprisoned in sensation. The blue became opaque."-- "The Fall of the Towers" Samuel R. DelanyFeedback:
Wow. I love the transition from Montgomery > Batoh > Phizmiz. Just kidding, I don't know any of these but would love to get schooled! ( :
Looks golden to me!
Don't know any of them but assume they are 3-chord rockers. ;-)
Y'know, I was just gonna say that I really dig the Fursaxa->Ergo Phizmiz opening stretch, as those are the only tracks I'm familiar with. Needless to say, this looks really wonderful, man.
Groping in the dark here, but I'd imagine that if one is listening to this via ear-buds, one would not want the volume to be set too high.
Had you there for a few in a row...and then...you sped off down this beautiful winding road. So much new to me, I really can't comment on much after Batoh...except for, thanks for the education and research material.
Oh yeagh, I've always been a great fan of Ergo Phizmiz (if only for the name), let alone Masaki Batoh and Raoul Bj÷rkenheim. Jus' kiddin'. I have no idea what the fuck this is about, but I trust your - for the most part immensely reliable - judgment, good sir. ;)
Hey, I know the residents. That's a start, I guess.
I agree with musicgnome. Research material. And I trust you Curtis. Otherwise I wouldn't bother.
I now realise that a Curtis_Burns mix is an essential thing. If we are to move forward and expand horizons, then we must embrace each one.Your duty, Curtis, should be to make these miracles available to all. For only through knowledge may we achieve enlightenment. Begin the process soon, Curtis. Don't let us fall into the darkness. The future is yours to share. I'm still waiting...
Well I familar with The Residents but not that track.
I'm with Mixxer !
Weee-heee!
I must get on the yousendit trail!
Another curb ruining necessity.

A download PLUS the Residents?!?
TYVM!!!
TYVM!!!
Oh Curtis, you're too kind. Grazie!
Nope! But I bet it's great!
Man, it sucks being the only kid at school into shit like this.
Maybe I should quit school altogether Jim.
I'm at the half way point and have to go to sleep. But my god man, this is incredible! This is Deep Blue mixology to my Speak and Spell!
Right, I'm jumping on the download train right now and heading to Expanding Horizons-ville. :) Looking forward to hearing how this sounds - bet it's great.
Thank you times eleven! Though numbers are mere gestures. I shall have my mind blown this evening.
