Humppaan Muna Tulessa
Comment:
Because I could.
Feedback:
Very illuminating mix!
Because it's there . . .
Girl, you couldn't get much higher!
Girl, you couldn't get much higher!
yeah,this my sh!t
incredible!
I once listened to a jock on NPR spin versions of "Hawaiin Wedding Song" for two hours. This is much more enlightening. Nicely done.
And you did! Nice work.

OMG! In fact, I had started collecting stuff for the exact same thing . . . but would probably never have gotten THAT far! Excellent.
Never been much of a Doors fan (I know, I know) but i've always liked this song. Love the Al Green version and Astrud Gilberto here but aint heard the rest. Top marks for assembling this.
Very impressive, I must say!
I had no idea there were so many versions of Humppaan Muna Tulessa
Because we trust you, we are glad you did.
A disparate yet pleasing artist list; a "classic" pop song; and an unambiguous motive. It would be remiss of me to complain. Therefore, I will not.
Excellent mix, I have one similar which i thought I'd posted, but I think I chose 'Satisfaction' at the time instead. Although there are some cross-overs, there's 10 you have'nt got if you want to do a swap? tho God know's why we'd want 30 versions?
Hysterical.
I'm stoked!
Wow, and no UB40.
GREAT!
Oh...my...god...
Wow. Just wow. I've always thought it would be cool to do a one-song mix, but no way would I ever have found the resources on this scale. Big slap on the back for you - and an extra one for not including UB40!
This is unbelievable. Like Thom, I have been collecting something for a similar mix (different tune, memorializing my favorite activity!) but I couldn't top this!!
The really scary thing is I could easily do another disc...
Thank fuck for no UB40. Julie London's the pick of the bunch for me. I've got about 50 versions of Somewhere Over The Rainbow' (There's about 1500 Out there folks) I'm making a compilation for a couple of gay mates, cutting it down to just 20 tracks is proving to be a nightmare.
You've stumbled upon my own personal hell, as I find 99% of "Light My Fire" cover versions to be unbearable unless I've had a few drinks. (I won't even bother telling you which ones I like). But I still love this mix in a perverse sort of way.
(Gasp!) Finnish, I presume.
LOL! Hmmm, between you and joey it's hard to tell who is a bad influence on whom. But definitiely a worthy addition to "NTMOAGT" - check it out at Exhibitions.BTW for people whi didn't figure it out, "humpaa" is an onomatopoetic word for polka music (analogous to the English "oompah") and you can find some examples <a href = "http://www.humppa.com/index_humppa.php" here.
here. damn html
No Jose? No way!
Looks like you've lit plenty of fires with this mix, my dear. I had no idea there were so many versions. Free Design do a pretty nice cover as well.
Fun stuff indeed!
. . . and we are glad you did . . . please tell me that MY Julie is the best version here . . .
A pyromaniac's wet dream.
