Holy Christ...one of the 10 best mixes I've ever seen on AOTM, surely. Not just great music, but a great combination of sounds and styles. Some of my favorite recent covers (Cake and Death Cab were by far the best cuts from "Stubbs", that Frankie Valli song kills no matter who's doing it, and that Ted Leo song is appropriately a cult fave by now), and track after track pop glory (special props for Brendan Benson, Decemberists, Of Montreal, B+S, and Ben Lee). The crowning achievements, though, are BLLT and the "Buffy" song. As far as the pure joy of music goes, these take the cake, showing tremendous wisdom (not to mention love of the medium) on your part. I don't mean to be so didactic, but honestly, this is breathtaking. Even if you were to make nothing but Radiohead and funk-metal mixes from here on out, you'd have lifelong credit for this one. Bravo, sir.

Wow, that's some steep praise, goodness. Thank you. I sometimes feel it's a little covers-heavy, but it was for my fiancee so I figured it'd be okay. Thanks, though.
