Comment:
My second collaboration with blasikin. See Also Bagels In Motion Once again we're both pretty happy with how things turned out. This time Mike was on the odd numbers, me on evens. Title comes from him living in the States & me living a lot closer to home...MIX

Feedback:
Nice joint mix.
Briefly, thank the lord you say; An interesting and ear-pleasing mish mash of sonic tonic. 19 & 20 are particularly groovy for me. I don't like the title but I love the artwork. "Closer To Home" would have been my choice -- but hey, what's in a name? Ask Modest Mouse, the tossers. Come to think of it, I love this mix. The Blasikin and Sammyg123 show -- bridging that musical gap -- and nation shall speak unto nation...
nice work guys
Pretty eclectic mix. Very cool.
Yeah Sam, great cover! Good times and enjoy the download! Sammy mixed this one too, btw...
Collaboration across 8 timezones - you guys rock!
This looks great. Love the Toots through Bobby Hutcherson stretch especially. Looking forward to giving this a, uhm, spin.
This was a very very pleasing mix. Melanie's ha hawing is something I had forgotten about and while it started to get to me at the start, I would have loved to hear it used again and again throughout the show, such as on top of the Disco Stomp number. The two of you did very well with the flat seques Sammy, and kept the beat between the fade out of the P5 track into Bobby Humphrey as a real nice knee rocker. Very commendable, very well done.
Will give this a blast later. I'm liking the look of the Toots/ De La... pairing among others.
Looks good.
Simply fantastic. Absolutely love everything about this mix...from the artwork to artists to the juxtopositions...TOPS!
Another MOTW contender.
Another MOTW contender.
Amazing. I've never made a mix with someone who's not in the same room -- so I'm interested to know how you go about putting it together so seamlessly. Three cheers for Hamilton Bohannon.
S-s-s-s-single Bed, now I've seen that I'll be humming it all day long. And Glenda Collins, excellent. Used to play pool with Velocette in a grimy, ash-stained pub near Camden many years ago. I've lived the poplife.
funtime
Likin' the look o' this lots.
So this is how an Alternating DJ mix is properly done.... looks terrific! Great selections.
Excellent, and like Orchid said, really impressive that you've got such a great finished product with 2 people. I absolutely love the 14-16 section and a little bit of Pizzicato Five is always good for what ails ya.
Sorry guys, missed this earlier. My loss, it's great!
Did I forget to come back to this? Damn! This is brilliantly assembled guys, keep the partnership together is my advice!
Another great one, fellas.
this is one of the best I've ever heard. I've had tracks 1,2,6,12 & 15 stuck in my head at various times over the past few weeks. that Glenda Collins song is incredibly listener-friendly. hard to believe its never been posted here before. and is that a Japanese cover of The Buggles at No. 5? Well done, and thanks for sharing w/ me.
Thanks for the welcome. I've peeked through some of your mixes and have to admit , I don't know a lot, but this, this looks fantastic.
