A veritable Top of the Pops considering the more off-the-beaten path items you've posted.

That Bjork song is an utterly fantastic and I don't care who thinks lesser of me for thinking so.

Many thanks Curtis. Some choice cuts on this one. And musicgnome, I actually think more of you for sharing my love of the pale, Icelandic siren. Great opener, Curtis.

Well I know the Beach Boys and Dolly tracks - one's sublime and the other is a cover.
...is that really a hyperlink?

Pop Goes the Curtis! I know some tracks here (line up the obvious suspects)...I'm not opposed to Bjork either though her S'arf London Icelandic accent grates in my shell like! Back to the mix...a shining example of mixing up the known with the unknown!

A really great mix from start to finish, Curtis. Thanks for the link. You know when a mix gets your seal of approval when you want to listen to it again, and indeed I do! And will...

Wow, Curtis. I am seeing the reviews and cannot wait to give this some airtime. Thanks always for the links. Of course, you gotta know I like the 2 track. The ending looks very promising. And I will be sure to be on guard when 5/6 slams in.

Wow, this looks really superb, my friend. Guess what? I actually managed to pick up that new Acid Mothers disc the week it was released. ( A first for me w/that particular group). Great track, of course, but the title track on that disc is an absolute MONSTER.

Very beautiful opener, Curtis. Wonderful how the Godley/Creme sample was used to great effect with the Cornelius tune. Llllet meeeeee innnnn. And I can see how this fits real well with the Hyperballad. Extremely pleasing into the Beach Boys. Nice subliminal second thoughts of birds into what is a killer 5 track. I would have squeezed more out of the segue but it is nonetheless commendable. You got me to it, and that means it is fine. And congratulations on letting number 6 sneak in there unnoticed. Hey, what can I say? You reached the halfway point and that is good enough for me to stay. Curtis, you make envious for a tab.

Shuggie Otis - I approve! Absolutely love the look of this one; nice addition with the Bjork and Cat Power, like the Okkervil River too and would love to hear Dolly Parton doing Crimson and Clover!
