Comment:
A mix choc a block with Psycho Beats, Break Beats, Hammond work outs, fuzz guitars. Deep Soul from Philly, Library tracks, soundtracks from the 60's & 70's, Hip Hop, Stax.if it's a crime beat I'm gonna track you down and I'm not to proud to go where music snobs or purists won't. Whether your beat is New York, Milan, Berlin or London, Crime Beat is your departure and arrivals. If like me you wanna grow a tache, sport a polo and call yourself Fabio then take down the mob Crime Beat's your weapon of choice. Sure, fellow Crime Beaters you're always on the job but you're not always on the streets; I bet you got a lady/man in need of some attention - we got the grooves for dat ; we got groves, too for hanging out in bars where you can cool your heels and ponder the job. Crime Beat ain't pain free you know, so we got grooves to splash your wounds with. Whether your F.B.I., C.I.A., Mosad, Interpol or Mafia, Crime Beat's the force for you. Whether your name is Cleopatra Jones, Scarface, Coffy, Popeye Doyle, Dirty Harry or Black Caesar Crime Beat knows your game! .* As with all my mixes, I have never downloaded a track. The scource CD neither credits artist, date or movie. This is the closest movie to track title. If anyone knows any better, let me know.

Feedback:
Fucking great. Love that run from Jimmy Smith through Clinic.
Bullet the blue sky, Don-O...this is superb!
This is tremendous. I am inspired and might very well follow your lead and do another "Blaxploitation" mix. Maybe a crime thriller, instead.
Either way the bar has been set to considerable heights.

I can honestly say that noboby does this type of mix better than the mighty Dom1. This mix is fabulous and an inspiration to all. Hey, if you tried to compete with this, well I think you'd find yourself shit outta luck...
The fact that all your mixes are on cassette and therefore I imagine all compiled in "Real Time" is admirable itself. The fact that all your mixes are of fantastic quality, well Dom, that's just showing off! Great work...
Crikey, I haven't heard some of these in years. Most excellent - through the avenues and alleyways, indeed !
...coincidentally, I just flipped the radio to AM, to catch some weather, & heard a blurb on the 10 o'clock news re: England's Tumbridge gang. Some bad boys goin' about & robbin' banks...& the crowd wot adores them...
Donnie get yer Crime Beat down.
Donnie get yer Crime Beat down.
The crime rate is up, but luckily Dom is on the case. Great mix!
This is @#$%ing awe-inspiring!!!
frickin cool as shit. NENEH CHERRY - what ever happened to her?
DAMMIT! WHERE'S THE LINK?!? This is really neat. You had me on the intro. And this is most definitely automobile music. And who the hell can go wrong with the Ivan Dixon direction?!? This week, I know nuthink. I know nuthink.
BLASIN Neneh Cherry lives in Spain and working with music and taking care of her family, she's doing a piece on the Swedish rapper Petters new album, this mix is as always cool and fun, love to see this movie
Shines like the oily sheen of sweat on the dull grey metal of a gun in the trembling hands of a stammering, scared-shitless crook in a 1971 NYC back alley.
Raymond Chandler would be proud.
Bang, bang!
Fierce!! For some cheesy fun, may I suggest adding Dolomite to you movie list?
Nice work. yet again.
Damn this is good. Nice work.
I love everything on this!! Truly great mix.
Top mix Dom & of course I gotta love the opener especially!
Great stuff Dom! Luvin the FLC, Isaac and Ike & Tina cuts.
FINALLY one for the ladies! Thanks, Dom. I can't stop salivating at that massive hunk of man. His shoulders must be 10 meters wide! And his chest... I swear, that top button is about to pop. I'd love to slide my tongue along that thick chunk of hair above his lip -- even if it smells like pork chops. And I'd kill to know what he's done with a Mars bar, and which members of the Pointer Sisters he slept with in order to win our admiration. (Nice mix, by the way. I love that Frankie Beverly track).
Nice one! Been on a bit of a Beasties kick the last couple of days, so it's good to see them here. I like the "instrumental" representations on here a lot.
