Comment:

So, I was looking through my stack's my CD's in their spindles the other day, and thought it would be fun to pick an album from each stack and play the first track off of it on Side A, and the second track off the same few stacks of CD's. There were about five stacks that I chose from. Two of these tracks came from mixes from fellow AOTM'ers, but I made sure not to include three Wilco tracks. (BEING THERE DISC 1 & 2 and YANKEE HOTEL FOXTROT were in one pile)Still, I found it fascinating how I ended up with two Jeff Tweedy-related songs ("Ill Fated" and "Walt Whitman's Niece", neither of which he wrote the lyrics for himself)as well as a Son Volt track. Anyway, the title comes from "Things That Scare Me". Enjoy!

Mix TAPE? Now that's old-school, Abs. Looks like this experiment turned out pretty swell.

This random style of making a mix worked better than a lot of my intentional ones.
