I suppose a draw is a fair result for a face-off between such pessimistic, yet excellent challengers for the title. This may be a contender for the "most dramatic mix" award. It's certainly deserves to be leather-bound.

Judging by my bookcase, my money's on Huxley. Wonderful mix. Love the Ruins -> Kenton -> Ayler and Basie -> Sun Ra -> Boooker T. bits especially. And the first track smash-up is quite the teaser.

Only a tiny part of a single universe? Rachel, dear, you need to expand your horizons. These days we're in the midst of multiple universes, not just one. But mark my words, we shall stick our glorious American flag through every last layer. Nice Ayler pick.

No matter what Rachel thinks about us, what she says about us makes me think she would still rather have the top bunk. And this mix is top shelf.

While my bookshelf says Orwell is the winner, I'm with Curtis on the rest.
