Comment:

For the first time, I am including a link (on the first track) to an mp3 (160kbps) of my posted mix. To create this volume of long songs, I cherry picked songs from three different long song mixes I made 18 months ago. The result is one with songs that aren't quite as long as my last posted long song mix. This time the average length of the song is 7m07s and the total playing time is 78m16s. The shortest song is track 9 (at 5m 23s) which is a bit odd since you would think it would be longer, being by the Dead (who are known for their long songs) and because the title, 'The Music Never Stopped', would seem to indicate one of their longer songs. The longest song here is 'Free Bird' by Lynyrd Skynyrd (track 7 at 10m04s).

You are the man with the stats!
Interesting that several of these, long they may be, still got significant airplay back in the day.

I would be interested in a truly megalength mix. But then it might get a bit silly with Tubular Bells, Close to the Edge and Thick As A Brick. Nonetheless kudos for this one.
