With a nondogmatic nod to Musicgnome's excellent Menace - Part V: An Exploration Into Subterranean Metal". Thanks to Valis for the Black Sun Ensemble.

Never had you down as a Metal Head...that Hendrix track is always welcome when the energy saps down at the narcotics bureau

Crunchy, metallic, slightly trippy, and definitely less dark than the gnome's evil Menace - certainly more vocals here than usual, gives this mix a nice human feel. Love the segue from Hendrix into Acid Mothers into Sonic Youth. Great work as always, Curtis (I re-upped my mix by the way)

Where others find discomfort I find soothing sonic scalp massage.

I always appreciate a bit of the Twilight Singers. As for the rest, this looks like quite the musical journey. Great stuff.

Fairies Wear Boots was my audition choice when I attempted to join a local band a million years ago. I failed, and was mentally scarred. I thought I'd gotten over it -- and now this! Of course, you weren't to know. But the pain is back. -- No, hang on, There's Hendrix to save the day. Ahh, that's better. Music eh, it gives and, in the case of a Curtis_Burns mix, it just keeps on giving. I've told my solicitor to hang fire on that writ. Muddah Faddah, kindly disregard this letter...

This is tremendous. (Bizarrely enough, I've been planning to use "Fairies" on my next mixed-genre mix. Please don't take offense if I still do so...)

Hi. I'm Elizabeth Glen. Nice to see you've included me in such an eclectic mix, especially since my tastes now run to Sabbath due to my son educating me!
