my friends and i have an ongoing joke about how my music taste tends towards the really crappy emo/pop-punk, but i didn't realize how bad it had gotten until my own father started making fun of what i was listening to. since he's the number one music guru in my life and got me into everything from miles davis to the ramones, this was pretty embarassing. i immediately sat down to prove to him that there is more to my music collection than taking back sunday, and that i can still rock . . . or at least roll.
