I make one of these every year - this is significant only because I'm a self-professed beat head, so I don't usually listen to much "rock". When I do - this is the kind of stuff that I gravitate towards. That being said - this mix is important because it's a mix that's been helping me out as I make some transitions in my life. Most of the songs discuss many of the emotions one feels when its time for a change - especially the U2 song - I mean - that one really says it all! I know some may scoff at how it ends - but while I could have ended things after the U2 track - I wanted to carry on and bring back the tempo - the whole mix is designed to the keep the spirits high - even in the face of adversity. I'm sure many of you have been there - the beloved "fork in the road". Hope it helps!!
