Well my first official mix since I have been back. As you all know I saw this band live at The 400 bar in Minneapolis on Tuesday the 21st. The doors were suppose to open at 7pm so me and my brother stood out side in 20degree weather until 8pm that is when they finally opened the doors. Around 9pm the first band took stage White Elephant they are a local band and they sucked balls. Not sure what time the second band came on, but it was The Silos and they kicked ass. Peter Buck came down and played with them on their last two encores they played Low Desert and So Fast, So Numb. That was fantastic. Than it was time for The Minus 5 aw the place went nuts. They played 10 or 15 song I think I can't remember I was so wasted. I do remember they played a Matthew Sweet cover the lyric I remember goes like this "Little black book" lol I can't think of the song title, but it was great. They also played a Neil young song `Natural Beauty'. The Final song they played 'World Of Suicide' the new unreleased song by Pearl Jam. All and all Scott McCaughey and Peter Buck played an excellent show. If you have not seen them yet please I highly recommend the show. It was mind blowing..

Glad you enjoyed the show. Don't know much Minus 5, but I'm a fan of R.E.M. Maybe you can send me this in exchange for one of mine to educate me....

Nice mix. Great band. Great show (that I saw in Pittsburgh a couple of months ago). And the song is called "The Days of Wine and Booze," not "The Days of Wine and Drinking Booze."
