Comment:

A for the hell of it mix with a slight difference. Can you guess what it is? I'm sure you can. I must stress though, despite the limitations in choosing the tracks, this flows better than any of the mixes I've attempted since I started "blending" them. Quality was NOT sacrificed in any way in my quest to be an utter smartarse! Thanks to ms_roboto for track 19, and Mixxer for track 22.

A for the hell of a great mix. Lots of favorites here. Also a fantastic REM choice.

The most bestest "utter smartarse" in the world...ever mix!If I may adopt the modern idiom -- this is the Wayne Rooney of mixes. Young, a bit dubious, rough around the edges, probably lives with a "celebrity" girlfriend and plays for a much hated club (not in these parts though) -- but, by any yardstick, capable of wondrous things and thoroughly entertaining -- filled with oft-realised potential. Yes, you know you'd pay to hear this. But, thanks to sammyg's philanthropy, it's available to all for a single down payment of nothing. Put this guy in the first team at once!

This mix looks smart.
Smart idea on how you arranged the tracks.
Track 6 is one of my favorites. ;-)

Ahh a bit of clever word play, I can never resist. I have a similiar complaint to Mike though as I had that Housemartins track on one im working on at the minute you fiend! Looks splendid Sam, will listen when I get home ce soir. PS Discs arrived in post yesterday, Cheers mate.

HA! Will listen at home, but any Mix with #15 gets extra special brownie points. Would give you Brownies, save the legal implications!

Nice stuff. One of my faves from the Fabs, great Kirsty pick, and I never tire of Farmer John.

Beautiful! Totally my kind of thing - I echo valis' Housemartins enthusiasm (haven't heard them in ages, actually!) and I also love the Martha & the Vandellas, Buzzcocks, Robyn Hitchcock and Kirsty MacColl.

It was nice, Sammy. Very pleasant to have in the background hearing old favorites and a couple of items I had never heard but got the biggest kick doing so. Very very pleasant. Good job.

Being from Jersey, I still find it strange to see pictures of roads without congestive traffic.

Anyhoo...the Zunomen? Now that's a band name!

Sammy, been digging this since I downloaded. Probably have listened at least the six times. You're really getting the hang of blending these. The segues are terrific.
