The music is boring me to death.
Comment:
My favorite 80 minutes of an artist that I've really come to enjoy over the years, despite having seen her on her Covers Record tour and being massively disappointed.Feedback:
I'm a convert only since 'The Greatest' but that album just grew & grew on me.
Great set here. I've been a huge fan of Ms. Marshall for a while now, and have been thinking of doing something like this. You hit upon all the stuff I'd probably put on, although I'd have less songs from her last two records, which I find comparatively less stellar than Moon Pix and What Would the Community Think. Fantastic nonethless.
a bit like Cliff says . . . although every time I hear her I like her more and more . . . not sure if she is 'the greatest' yet, but she definitely shows promise . . .
I agree with Cliff too. Her previous material didn't do much for me but her latest album has been on heavy rotation in our house.
I'm with Cliff & George. Love 'The Greatest', don't know much else altho I recently purchased 'Moon Pix' but as yet that's unplayed.
I like what I've heard of her (which isn't alot), might need this one
No "Cross Boned..." Off of Moon Pix!!! Yowza!?
I fell out with Cat a few years back when I heard a few songs that I didnt much care for so me being me I wrote her off only to find the latest record to be a gem. I might need to do some back tracking through the rest of her work. Kudos for the inclusion of the (Smog) cover.
I'm w/ French Connection; for years I thought she was overrated. but someone's been playing "Greatest" at work and it's growing on me.
I've got 4 of her albums I think...I haven't heard too much of them yet..I'm not keen on the covers album...I must get round to giving them a good listen...praps I'll use this as a guide!
I like "The Greatest" and this is choice. I would like to see "Cross Bones Style" since that is my favorite song by her.
Power-ful!
Great mix! I am just getting into her. Well done!!
Yes. 'The Greatest' has pretty much converted me too. Intrigued to hear more.
