This is one of the longest mixes I've done. I got the idea for it while listening to a bootleg of a Maria Taylor show from Houston, Texas. In her intro to "Speak Easy" she says that they're going to play a love song, and it's quiet because love can be quiet. Then she said, "the best kind of love is a love that's really quiet."
I love the Magnetic Fields, and I really love "It's Only Time." Stephin Merritt, I think, is a genius.
I'm very, very proud of this mix.
