Comment:

My belated tribute to Lawrence Hayward's OTHER (and totally different) great band. Almost every track on their two full-length albums was considered for this comp, but here were the last tracks cut: "It Fell Off the Back of a Lorry," "Shut Up Sidney," "I'm Against the Eighties," and "Job Centre."

Funnily enough I've just 'discovered' Denim . . . and am really enjoying them. Will use this to guide further listening, thanks.

Lawrence is so over-rated but not rated enough...I've only heard samples of Denim and they seem pleasant enough in a sort of retro glam way. Well done for finding a band that is little known especially I would think in the U.S.A. I might well try and find a cheap denim album on Amazon though in recent searches they are not so cheap. Good stuff!
