I made this mix for my sister when she studied abroad in Latin America for a year. Basic premise being - leaving here, going on a journey, throw in some references to Spanish things (due to the native tongue of the country she was in), reference that she would be in school while there, acknowledge that it might be scary at first, but you'll get over it and have a good time, but be careful, and I'll be happy to see you back home again.
