Comment:

For the hell of it, despite the more than two weeks that it took for this thing to gestate (I was having trouble finding songs that really, really moved me as mix candidates). I'm actually really happy with the way that this hangs together. Title paraphrased from the Simon Joyner song.

A few faves, a few unorthodox picks from bigger artists ("Smile Away" indeed!), and some stuff I imagine I should go check out.

Essex Green, Joy Division, Lightning Bolt, Drive-By Truckers, Dream Syndicate, Hombres, Bonzo...not much not to like, here.Though the inclusion of some of the iffy Solo McCartney output is tad questionable. ;)

EXCELLENT with capital E (and every other letter too). I'm very curious about this new Denim band.... I'm a sucker for the latest designer jeans... do they come in size 26?Long live Syd Barrett!
