Getting going on the mixes for my brother's bar/restaurant. A Tavern Series focusing on different times of the day (or night). This is something for happy hour.

I'd be thinking there's more to this tavern than meets the eye; let's have another drink and hear what plays next.

What is the age group you are trying to reach with this mix? It seems like it would please more of an older crowd (such as the AotM crowd, he, he, myself included).

To answer some questions... the bar is in Philadelphia so sadly I'll only be hanging out there a few times a year and I won't get to see first hand how these mixes are enjoyed (or not).
Right now it is a shot & beer dive but extensive renovations are planned to transform the place into an nice tavern that reflects it's upscale location. There's a classic Irish pub next door, a sushi bar and a Borders across the street. Lots of fancy stores all around.
So what age group am I trying to reach? It will never be a kid bar or even probably college age. Most likely late 20s on up. I've got several more mixes that I'm finishing up that have much more newer stuff and others that go deeply into the vaults. Sometimes back to back. So we shall see how it all comes out.

If this is the type of music that will be played, please let me know - I am in Philthy and can help spread the word. Name of Bar? Location? Opening date?

Glorious tavern happy hour hang-out sounds. They're not going to need a jukebox.

If I heard Slim Harpo and just a few song later, "Lies", "No Matter What" and "Do Ya" all in a row at a bar I would stay for another.
