The Weather Forecast:
Micro-drone washed skies as evening approaches. A mixture of
light & dark sonic drift-streams...reconstituting the ambient landscape.

[Thanks to

P the Swede for the

Dead Beat track. Download the Tiefe Berge (link above) if at all possible...it's gorgeous].

Got the Tiefe on the speakers as we speak - take me to the highlands!
When the genius enters the l@bs, no one knows what creations may emerge...

PS Brought you a souvenir from the trip ==>

Very nice stuff. Thanks for the links too. I might just have to pilfer from that Nulleins album on the "Thinner" site...

Thanks for listening to The Edge, GAB. If you like that, then you will surely love 'Orion's Belt - Beyond the Edge of the Galaxy' where The Edge is taken from.

Dreaming of the day that he can spread his wings and fly away again! Fly away...

Uh, sorry, did I put EJ back into your head again?

Don't Shoot Me I'm Only a Commenter - especially dig what's behind Doors Number 1 & 8. Very nice.
(turn me loose, from your hands, let me fly to distant lands.....now it's in my head!)

Awash in the haze.., given the Eno/Budd. Great closer,too...

Quite the "storm cell" of a mix. Evokes "calm before the storm" flow...which, of course is quite masterful, if I may say so.

...and the clouds, in their majesty, passed no comment...ominous, indifferent, they filled the unfathomable skies and spread their wonder...

Hey Gene, sorry to be so slow in getting back to you! Was on the road
for a bit and then running like crazy once I got home. This is Great stuff!

And thanks much for the Emil Klotzsch pointer, good memory about the
Scottish angle! Finally had time to download this album and listening
to it. Some nice tracks for sure, a spacious sound, good droney
chords. There seems to be some audio issues here and there (sort of
EQ things) - I'd be interested to hear uncompressed versions of this,
but I guess it's an MP3 only release. Not sure I hear the Highlands
in this - maybe if I had another dram or two of single malt ;-) - but
a fun release none the less. Wouldn't have found it without your tip!

Great stuff! It was an other-worldy experience. Are you sure Emil Klotzsch and the others are earthlings? So this is ambient - no big crescendos, but always musically a lot going on so it never becomes just background music. Seems mostly pretty free form in structure, except for the recognizable rhythm line in Aphex Twin. Nice to hear the water and birds here and there too. Thanks for the CD, and keep up the great work in the l@bs.
