Thanks to lanhamyodel for track 25.
I have no idea what "shashlik" is. All I know about this dish is that it's meat. And that the meat's, uh... caucasian.
A birthday mix for my favourite hemizen.

Feedback:
great scott... this is like several fascinating mix cds all in one. like being bounced back and forth in a sparkly dryer.
Nice. Lots of hot white meat.
Looks yummy!
For once I'm speechless. Thank You.
tasty?
Meaty!
Some very odd morsels have been skewered together for this... I'm not exactly salivating, but I am intrigued!
Well, alright. Shashlik is a sort of pork kebab with bacon, onions and bell peppers coming with a kind of reddish industrial goo some people might call sauce. It was supposed to have originated from Eastern Europe somewhere and used to be a fast food fave in Germany from the 60s to the 80s when it was basically erased from the culinary map, so to speak, with the advent of the Mickey-D-style "burger" (yech). As for the mix: Another wild collection of totally outrageous weirdness from the master of sublime absurdity. Being a mean old grumbler, though, I'll have to remark that Peter Kraus - "the German Elvis" - has only one S and it's "Das ALTE Haus von Rocky Docky" - which must be some kind of cover version from the 80s or 90s, as the original was recorded by Bruce Low in 1955. Where's "Lollipop Man" by The Sweet? And where did you find track 25 again?;) And, er, before I forget: Happy Birthday!
way cool
I remember shashlik being sold by street vendors in Moscow, and it was delicious. And so is this mix.
Mystery meat, my favorite! with hanky panky on the side & lollipops for dessert . . .

Thhe Alma Cogan revival starts here
wonderfully prepared.
I defy anyone to not smile during this particular Spike Jones track and the final two are beyond brilliant. Nicely done!
Another tasty dish!
An enticing dish, no doubt about it.
Fun! And I like the John Cooper Clarke/Tom Jones hand off. Also dig the Doris Day and Leslie Gore!
Your deal-a-meal mixes never cease to amaze me.
Great stuff!
Well I just hope he enjoyed his burpday and the mix!As usual, I know very little here, but John Cooper Clarke, wey hey! Wotta boy!
