So very tired of doing the right thing
Comment:
For the hell of it and done on the fly, using new software that I still haven't quite mastered. Title from Mr. Morrissey. (Note: This mix was *seriously* revised on May 14. With that in mind, the people who commented on it prior to that day were not hallucinating re: the tracks they were discussing.)Feedback:
Killer opening and closing, 8-11 run looks sweet too.
Liking 1 and 7-12.
Looks great, especially from what I know here. Gotta love the "For The Hell Of It" mixes!!
This looks very cool. Any chance of a copy?
Interesting stuff, Rob. Kinda looks like this could be the soundtrack to our last conversation. I'm curious to hear your opinion of Sunn O))) and the latest from Sparks. I've never been able to comfortably fit Minor Threat (or Fugazi for that matter) onto a mix, but they look right at home here.
As is usually the case with your mixes - we have many of the same faves.
I like this one. I've just finally mastered my cassette player. nice variety w/ Sparks, Minor Threat, Nina Simone... and I like your Aphex/Pretenders/Mott the Hoople sandwich.
this is why i like you. gimmee.
very interesting looking mix here!
nice genre-hopping. you know i like that stuff.
Good stuff Rob, ive always liked Gedge going all Twin Peaks on us, I listened to it the other day for the first time in years!
Looks great. Nice work Rob.
Awesome genre blending here! Love the Deerhoof, Wire, Aphex, and Lips picks especially.
For the hell of it is a fine reason. Good-lookin' mix, Rob.
This looks fuckin' fantastic, man! Out of many highlights, gotta love the Sparks, Nina Simone, PE, Pretenders and Sunn0))) (!) tracks. I, too would be curious to hear yr opinion of those guys. Anyways, super-cool mix, man.
Spectacular. Love the Pharaoh through Wire opening especially.
Master the release, sir.
Ooh, really fine mix! The first few tracks reeled me in.
Wow, what an opener and a really cool mix to follow.
Unaware of track 1 but am intruiged by it. The mix looks fab on the whole, would like to hear. Hint..!
A revelation. Intuitive selection and positioning, and who the fuck are Sunn O)))?
