40 tracks (actually 41) of pre-Rollins Black Flag madness (* 40 from SST, the 41st track is the Dez version of "Police Story" from the Alternative Tentacles comp LET THEM EAT JELLYBEANS). I've left some off the list because it seems I can only list 30 songs. Keith recorded 3 songs that were later done by Chavo (Ron Reyes) on the JEALOUS AGAIN ep. Dez also did versions of "Jealous Again" and "Clocked In" - sources are EVERYTHING WENT BLACK and FIRST FOUR YEARS complilations. I'm sure there are other pre-Hank recordings out there, but I don't have 'em. I remember hearing once about a full album done w/ Dez but I don't know if those recordings ever surfaced, or if that's what is on his section of EWB. If anyone knows, please feel free to fill me in. It's interesting that the final Keith Morris demos ("Depression," "Clocked In," and his 2nd recording of "Wasted") on EWB sound almost like the Circle Jerks (they're VERY fast). I've wanted to do this for a long time, and it turns out all 41 songs clock in at around an hour and 10 mins.
