Comment:
Another collaboration with blasikin. Our fourth so far. This has been a month in the making, due to both of us at different times going on vacation. The final tracks were decided upon a couple of days ago, and yesterday I spent a fair while creating the covers and blending the tracks to "perfection". Mike and myself are both in agreement this is our best collaboration of the lot.So, everything is perfect. Until, moments before posting this I notice a mix has been posted entitled...Tropical Hot Dog Night!!! Bloomin heck, talk about bad timing. Of course changing the title of the mix should be the easiest solution, unfortunately as in my previous mix "Mr Robo Man" makes an appearance namedropping the title on a couple of occasions. And I've already burnt quite a few copies ready to send out to anyone that wants one. So, the title stays.
This time Mike's on odds, me on the evens. Enjoy the mix!

An enviable mix!
Truly amazing. You gotta check out musicgnome's latest cover as well... The mixin' sounds fabulous, by the way. Check this shit, y'all!
"Like Two Flamingos in a Fruit Fight"(Alternate title?)
Glorious! As coincidences go the double hot dog whammy is up there with rhe best, as is this mix. Bat Macumba always makes me happy as does any appearance by Matt Ward. Superb blending too Sam.
Another fantastic collaboration - favourite picks are M. Ward, Nightmares On Wax and Traffic, but it's all good stuff. I like blasikin's title too!
Beautiful, any chance of one of those spare copies finding its way to France?
This is good. Very, very good. I agree with the notes. This is the best of the sammyg/blasikin collaborations. The alternating DJ mix comes of age. Perhaps this is their Sgt. Pepper. Which means the White Album is around the corner -- oh, the anticipation.
I don't like the title -- but hey, what's in a name. The fact that someone else has used it is astounding to me. It's not good enough to use once. Nonetheless, with mixing this good, it shouldn't matter -- and yet...Still, it's better than Winamp 59 or Winamp 63 or whatever. And it's a long way from the worst mix/song title ever -- "Talking Shit About A Pretty Sunset" -- Modest Mouse should hang their heads in shame. In fact, after all that I'm starting to warm to it.

Funny coincidence about the title! Looks like great stuff. How come all the Latin flavored stuff falls on odd numbers? Not a coincidence. You guys rock.
This is absolutely great and I agree with your assessment, as well. Seeing as you're already sending me a package, feel free to drop one of these in there. :-)
well I like the title (and the pic) . . . and from what I know, the music too!Hugh Masekela! Haven't heard him in years. Excellent!
Very well put together. Great job all around!
I like the odds on this one, & the evens maybe even more. Is that "Banana Boat" en espanol? This I've gotta hear!
excellent! I'd like one, please. glad you stuck w/ the title. who cares if someone else used it. two hotdogs are always better than one. impressive that you've topped your past work together. it's a tall order.
To paraphrase joey de vivre, waggle those tropical hot dogs! Fantastic looking mix.
Excellent from start to finish and odds to evens.
Here come 5 more from the starslinger herself.
I am reminded by that Simpsons episode when the 2 morning DJs deliver: "HotDog! We have ourselves a weiner!!!"

At birth, separated you guys were.
Good go gentlemen!
Sand in the buns!
Sand in the buns!
The best of the Wurst!! Looks great!
Nice work
Oh my goodness! What a wondrous mix of various animal parts squeezed into a skin of ambiguous origin!
Bummed I'm too late to download, but I guess that's what I get for hiding under a rock. Maybe one of you will want to trade me for it (she hinted oh so subtly).

Ohhh, you bad-ass mo'fos! This looks like you made it just for me!!!
I've had all my old music locked away on an old computer but it is now released! Good one!
