Comment:

This mix was made at the tail end of 1999, with New Year's Eve in mind. I tried to capture some of the Millenium fever, the paranoia (and fear, regarding the possible breakdown of our electronic way of life), hope, and excitement of the time. Between music tracks, I included dialogue from TV evangelists declaring the end of the world, a TV movie of the week about Y2k, and various radio personalities discussing the new year.
