another 'let's see what we can pull out of the binder' show, with tracks selected from movie soundtracks. that doesn't mean they were actually *in* the movies, these days, but that some corporate drone figured that some twit like me would buy the soundtrack if it featured a particular mix of artists. well, if any soundtrack actually did feature all of the above artists, i admit that i would indeed follow the herd and line up like a sheep to shell out some shekels for it :)

i did find it interesting to see that the 3 contiguous selections from the 'Blown Away' soundtrack all featured elements of time. a closer examination of the track listing reveals that a good half of the soundtrack matches that profile. coincidence ? i think not ! the only canadian content on this setlist is the shadowy men, tho i'm trying to remember if 'blister in the sun' played during the gun battle between john cusack and dan akroyd (who is canadian). i must admit that i have never seen either 'brain candy' or 'dangerous minds', so that makes me either a really smart fellow or really scared stupid ;)
