He's de-lightful.
He's de-lovely.
He's DE VIVRE!! Happy Birthday, jdv.

Thanks to this mix & Alma Cogan's timely advice, I now know that I should never ever do a tango with an Eskimo -- no matter how tempting!

Cruella, I admire your perseverance in searching the whole universe of recorded music to find the definitive version of every song -- so many people would have settled for Elvis doing "Teddy Bear", but you knew he was only warming up for Eilert Pilarm. Some people might think know "Hello Dolly" just because they've hear Louti Armstrong - but that's just because they haven't heard Los Yorsys! I myself thought I had heard some pretty good "Guitar Boogie" but never could I have imagined its resplendent reinterpretation by Yoon Il-Loh (in fact I still can't imagine it, even while I'm listening to it!

Best. Birthday. Present. Ever.

THANKS

Fabulous as usual. That tasty lookin' log reminded me of this old Space Ghost ditty...BRAK: Beef log, beef log, what a treat. A hefty hunk of processed meat. Dipped in mustard, oh what joy. I'm a jolly beef log boy. Hot and spicy, mild or plain, I even eat the cellophane. I might share some with my dog, 'cause we both love beef log. Oh boy!

ZORAK: Brak, I beg to disagree. Cheese log is the log for me. As a meal or as a snack, it's my favorite saturated fat. Cheese log, cheese log, cylindrical and yellow. Cut the cheese log, and I'm a happy fellow.

Reading the tracklist made me giggle...just a little :p

Really enjoy the whole "Dolly" opening 1-6. Great stuff there.

The flow of the mix is superb, and even in text form you can almost "hear" the journey it leads you on. Love it.

As a side note, the very idea of a chilled celery log is border line hilarious!
