Comment:

Some interesting covers in this set. Part of the Tavern Series for my brother's bar and another one in my Porch Sittin's Series for me. I got a stack of recent mixes that need to be posted but I've been playing around with this file sharing stuff. This is my first post to download so check out the link on the first song.

I'll definitely be downloading this one. Arcade Fire did a cover of This Must Be The Place? Fantastic! Loving the Zombies, Beatles and Billy Bragg - thanks for the link too.

In text form: a tantalising tease of a mix which doesn't just ask to be downloaded - it pretty much demands it!

Queued for download right now and will pop back later with a verdict on the listen!

I'd happily raise a pint or two to this mix. Anyplace that played a Swans tune would have me coming back for more as well.

. . . I'll have a seat at the table too . . . but I'll almost certainly be late again (so sorry about that).Great mix, I was just listening to Lady Jane last night and have slotted it onto a mix I am working on. Great stuff . . .

You know, I don't have many "sacred cows" but "Naive Melody" may just be one; I cannot imagine anyone other than the Heads performing it. For me, it has always been perfection. That said, I love Calexico's take on Love. You've used one of my high-ranking Beatle tunes, a great Badfinger choice, and love the Heads original. Heck, I'm with the boys: see you at the bar AND on the porch.
