This will be the third mix I make for this person, and this time it's for her birthday. For someone who is taking turning 20 a little hard, I wanted to help, even in such small ways as this. I initially bought Thurston Moore's Mix Tape book as the birthday present, however that one gift has turned into a sequence of gifts in the theme of audio formats. I got an old David Bowie Diamond Dogs record on vinyl, the Mix Tape book, and now this mix CD. I chose some artists she loves, some songs she loves, some stuff I hope to be introducing to her, and some that remind her of being a youngster again (Kid Rock, Journey). Happy 20th, Brittany.
