Comment:

After attempting a couple of mixes that came to nothing, I went in a different direction. Backwards in fact. Deciding on a closer and working my way up, choosing tracks that would go well before instead of after etc The result: possibly my favourite mix in recent months. Of mine at least. Thanks to Saaf for tk 4. Download, if only for the utterly ludicrous Kid Carpet tune. Go ahead... Might aswell...

Very interesting logic employed, here. Gotta try that out. This, from the tracks selected, the juxtapositions and the overall production quality, is fantastic.

And they said it couldn't be done. Sammy throws away the rule book and comes up trumps. Well, that's quite enough clichTs to be going on with - doh!. Perhaps a word to Sven wouldn't go amiss. No, what am I saying -- let's stick to a "winning" formula. There's only one Sammy G and he's too cunning by half. See how I sneaked in more clichTs there...hilarious. Oh, fabulous mix, by the way. Your like Little Jack Horner -- every one a plum.

Curvacious. You can't have a bad mix when you include Outdoor Miner. Thanks for the DL.

Backwards? Forwards? It looks good from any direction. Really like the 24 to 21 stretch.

You never know from which direction a mix might grow. Love those Kim Fowley & Wire picks and an appearance by Lord Sutch is always appreciated by me.

This is a great listen, lots of interesting twists and turns. Was the process like working a maze backwards?

A top top listen my friend, I even watched the first half of the Italy - Ukraine game with the sound turned down to digest this, from a football addict that is high praise indeed. Loved the Fowley and Field Music in particular. What got Heinze's goat by the way?...

Barry - don't know what got He'nze's goat but he weren't happy was he? So the Germans march on. With the exception of Ballack, who limps on. Name On The Trophy I fear.....
