Comment:

Mr. Blasi has drawn me out of hiding. We chatted briefly about our last collaboration that never quite made it (2/3rds of a masterpiece is often enough) and I sent him that Roland Kirk track. That's Roland and Sonny Boy Williamson live in Copenhagen, Sonny Boy is credited as "Big Skol." And so it went, through night and day and in and out of weeks and almost over a year...wait, we haven't gotten to where the wild things are just yet. This mix is great and was a lot of fun to make. If there's interest, I will try to fashion a link.

Exactly what the other two said. That Kirk track is a great way to start off and the rest (particularly Skip James, Paul Butterfield, Bobby Bland, Magic Sam, Furry Lewis, Charlie Christian, and Big Mama Thornton tracks) only gets better. Please fashion a link ASAP, as this looks essential.

Ha ha, love the title Nick. Yum. (This was my dinner a couple nights ago). I got them cross-continental alternating-dj blues again, mama!

F@#k the pineapple chunks. What a way to ruin good rum! Not much, however, could ruin this mix. Great stuff.

Apart from the horrendous thought of "Pineapple Chunks", I profess myself another interested party. Give us this day our daily link...

Wait. The Rice Miller Sonny Boy Williamson? The one who would spit blood into a can between runs on the harp? Big Skol (as in smokeless tobacco) sounds rather harsh. But I love the mix. Count me among the very interested for a link.

To echo alma cogan, I like your work too. Fabulous Roland Kirk track among others I'm too lazy to mention.
