Comment:
A.K.A : I couldn't have made this without you guys! 10 months ago I knew nothing on this mix. 10 months later, and after countless trades with many wonderful mixers alongside links to other fantastic mixes, here it is. This mix takes in some of the finest tracks I've 'Discovered' since becoming part of the AOTM community and boy, is it a cracker! For those of you who don't download this mix is available for trades as always. For those who do, I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed compiling this. Mix on everyone!MIX

Feedback:
Wonderful concept and wonderful mix mate. I'm pleased with your pick from me, I've made copies of Mr Tihista's Wake Up Captain album for at least 10 people trying to spread the gospel. Lots I don't know here but I love your Curtis and GambleOn picks.
Thanks a lot for the nod. This is a great mix...
Wonderful tribute; great cover. Can't wait to hear this!
Wow I'm in esteemed company here Sam & therefore sooo pleased to be included. Can you put me down for a copy via snail mail please, my download connection sucks; which given the amount of superb mixes round these parts of late really bugs me to death.
Doh!!! Didn't make the cover art cut...CRAP! See, the secret is, I don't even own a speaker...I just like making pretty pictures. And, so much for that! ;)All kidding aside this looks incredible. Fantastic work all around. Look forward to hearing this!
You've discovered some great stuff from AotM brigade. Donner Party is a major fave of mine and you can't go wrong with Beefheart, Tom Ze, or the Lucksmiths.
Oh, I Like This!
For me too AOTM has been the source of many many musical by-ways i never would have known on my own (including a few from your esteemed self Mr. Samuel) - & the constant swirl of paying it back is a lot of fun. Looking forward to loading this . . . thanks!

It's funny. I was saving the Irfane track for something special and my first ever AOTM collaboration was just that. Thanks again, sammy! I like the structure and sound of this. Truly one of my favourites. Love especially the segue from 20-21. However, the track is actually by Yellow Magic Orchestra that you pasted after "Irfane".
This mix speaks to the eclecticism of the site's participants -- that musicgnome, of all blokes, would introduce you to Blossom Dearie, of all gals, brings a smile to my face. Awesome mix, Mr. G.
Way to hand out the props. I especially like the tracks provided by valis and French Connection.
Thank you, thank you! So nice to be 'in', among such super company.
Interesting way to know new music. I'm not familiar with most of the artists here (only Tom ZT actually) but I'm downloading to begin with. Thanks for the download, of course :)
Wow, I'm incredibly flattered to be included on this mix given the caliber of the mixers featured. Thanks for including me in this superb mix.
Does yo' momma know the kind of crowd you been hanging with?
Just kidding. Great mix, and thank you for all of the good vibes you have spread on the site.

Just wonderful, Sam. And like French Connection, I'm delighted to be in such august company
chock full o wonderful ear candy.
Fantastic, glad you liked The Lucksmiths sammy! I'm honored to be on this mix along with so many other exceptional talents. Great compilation!
Really cool, and thanks for including me here! (That Warren Miller track is indeed a good 'un.) Looks like you've discovered loads of great stuff in your trading adventures, and I'm sure there's plenty more where that came from. Thanks for providing the download link too!
PS - congrats on MOTW!
Congratulations on a great mix! Well deserved MOTW.
Great concept, great mix, great cover. Don't mean to sound like a broken record, but THIS is what makes AOTM a great community. Congrats on MOTW and drop by sometime if you are looking to trade for vol. 2.
Congrats!!, on the very deserving MOTW selection.
that's AOTM in a nutshell. Congrats on MOTW thoroughly deserved!
Yes, congratulations are in order on this fabulous mix. Don't we AOTMers have collectively great taste in la musica? Happy I could be a part of it. Looks like you've been a tradin' fool!
Nice mix-o-mixes, Sam. Congrats on MOTW & tnx for the DL.
Cpngrats and thanks for the inclusion. You've even included a few of my fave AotM discoveries.
Congrats on MOTW and great mix de la mix.
sam, this is wonderful. a fine collectoin of golden nuggets you've dug up on AOTM. thanks for including me in the group. I've downloaded, so you can finally save your stamps.
Whoops I almost forgot to mention - that is some killer HTML, what with everybody having their own link. It is more than music you have discovered here.
;-)
;-)
ah lahk et. ah lahk et ahlaht.
Kudos, Sam.
That's an amazing array of trades in under a year. And the sounds were a great change of pace for my ears.

The USA bloke asks: what's the difference between a cracker and a corker? Anyhoo, this is definitely a crackin' corker, my friend. I'm listening to and throughly enjoying it in my new pad, finally got the internet up and running. I hope this turns into a series.
Congrats!
Wahey! I'm back online at last --curse BT -- and just in time to discover this gem from SammyG.Congratulations Sam! This is a marvel to behold, and mighty fine to hear as well. Bravos all round.I couldn't help but notice my own failure to help with such "discoveries". Ho hum, it must be all that "Brit-Boy-Rock" I'm always filling my meagre mixes with. It's ok, I'll be fine. Don't worry about me, save yourself...
Excellent stuff! Many congratulations on MOTW.
Firstly, congratulations! Second, great tracklist! Last.., thanks, much, for the inclusion. Honored in no small way to be a part of this...
Fanstastic stuff and so thrilled to be included. I'd also like to echo Mixxer & say thanks for spreading good vibes around the site. Congrats!
Good catch, DJ Karen. The track is in fact "Firecracker" by Yellow Magic Orchestra and not guitar picker Lenny Breau. Musta mixed up the order on Forget It Jah, It's Chinatown.Sorry Sam!
Karen & Mike - that track has been changed, cheers K. I've already e-mailed Barry to thank him for his great choice on MOTW! And thanks everyone for the kind comments..
Congrats.
sorry that I haven't sent you any great ones, I will I promise
I meant to leave a feedback after listening to the download, but it took a while before I got to hear it. (So much music, so little time!) But his is really great. One of my favorite mixes I traded for some time ago was made with the same concept: "Sounds Good to Me--Top Hits of today" by McBrd for his first AotM anniversary. Unfortuantely he has deleted all his mixes since then, otherwise I would create a link.) I've tried to create such a mix for my first anniversary, too, but miserably failed. I found the task too overwhelming at the time. So much music, so many choices! Kudos to you for pulling it off, and creating a really wonderful, eclectic, surprising, enjoyable mix.
Well, it has been two months since you posted this mix (worthy of a MOTW) and I am just now getting around to commenting (sorry). I just found your mp3 file of the mix and listened to it again; much more attentively than I did the first time. Like tracks 3, 10, 11, 21 & 22 especially. I happened to use the same track 3 as my third track on the 2nd mix I posted to AOTM almost two years ago. Hope I can contribute something to any future 'Discoveries' mix.
Minor correction: It's Ditty Bops, not Diddy Bops. (Loving both their albums - the new one's even better imo.) Really liking this entire series of yours.
