Comment:

Variations on your basic 12-bar-blues. Considering most of these follow the same traditional blues-based chord progression (with a few exceptions where I widened the net a bit), there's a surprising amoung of variety to the finished product. I ended up with more music than I could fit, so I cut a lot of the slower numbers that were more blues than rock (i.e. some Kinks, Dylan, Cream, etc.) to make space.

NOTE: Last-minute change -- removed the Doors' "Roadhouse Blues," added the Kinks' "Last Of The Steam Powered Trains" back in. A bit more of a slow blues, but fits better with the rest of the disc. Plus, much better song...

Zoiks this is chock full of great stuff. Fantastic picks from the Clash, Apples in Stereo, and J&M Chain. Hell, it's all good. And it's always nice to some Long Ryders. And that Fripp/Hall cut is one hell of a rocker.

This is really awesome, and it's great to see another mix from you. Love the Kinks and T.Rex, but the choices are wonderful all round.

Great to have you back! A little bird told me you've had some recent computer problems before I shot him. I don't know much about chord progressions, but this looks very rockin'. Clever mix name too!

Just wonderful! And frankly I think the Kinks are a much better choice than the Doors.

And thanks for including one of my all time fave Replacements cuts.
